Welcome! This website is dedicated
to creating an interactive conversation about life and death,
and how to make the most of both events. Put simply, it's a
place for you to feel comfortable talking about life's big topics.
It's also a place where you can jump off into a virtual sea
of discovery about spiritual topics, whether you're new to the
topic or in graduate school.
This site has it's beginning in my book,
Afterwords: 75 Everyday People Answer 15 Common Questions About
the Afterlife. In the course of writing the book, it became
obvious to me that a discussion of life's purposes and death's
mysteries is, as I say in the book, "the most important conversation
on Earth." This is especially true as quantum mechanics points
us in the direction of the magnificent and mysterious role that
we each play in creating everything we sense and experience.
There's only one expert about your piece of the big human puzzle,
and it's you. Use your gifts of intellect and insight to research
thoughtfully and share generously with others in
Afterwords Discussion Forum. Find the
links that interest you (a directory?), contribute your own
favorites (link for take the afterlife survey, and in general,
have a good time being a part of the most important conversation
on Earth.
Everyone with a good heart and open mind is welcome. But if
your main intent is to beat up on other's who don't share your
religious, or anti-religious feelings, please wait until you
can offer your opinions with grace and compassion.

"The day will come,
after harnessing space, the winds, the tides
and gravitation, we shall harness for God
the energies of love. On that day, for the
second time in the history of the world, we
shall have discovered fire."
- Tiehard de Chardin
